Welcome to the Pierce Proud Tour!
Greetings from Rindge! As Director of Alumni Relations at Franklin Pierce University, it is my pleasure to introduce the Pierce Proud Tour blog. Starting in August 2013, the Alumni Relations Department at Franklin Pierce University is headed on the road to visit with alumni in honor of the closing of the 50th Anniversary Celebration. Chartered in 1962, Franklin Pierce welcomed the first class of students in 1963, and has been connecting with alumni since the first graduating class of 1967. That’s over 45 classes of alumni that have gone onto amazing careers, life journeys, and adventures – and we want to hear about them!
Trying to see as many alumni as possible over the next year, the Alumni Association Board of Director’s External Relations Committee, in collaboration with the Alumni Relations Office, has targeted the top ten locations that host the most alumni. Over the next twelve months, we will be visiting these areas to host receptions and events, and we hope you will attend when we make it to your town. If there is not an event located in your area, but you would like to join on the Pierce Proud Tour please contact my office and we can try to set a visit up. In person visits are not required, as we’d be happy if you shared with us why you are Pierce Proud by filling out our survey!
Stay tuned for more updates on the Pierce Proud Tour!
